Noseband tightening check for your horse from 01 May 2025 in FEI competitions
According to Article 1044.8 of the FEI Veterinary Regulations, excessively tightened noseband(s), as determined by an FEI approved Measuring Device, shall incur the following consequences: Pre-Competition: The Horse and the Athlete combination is not allowed to start unless the noseband is re-adjusted to allow enough laxity. During the Competition: The Horse and Athlete combination is eliminated from the Competition in question and the Athlete is issued with a Yellow Warning Card.

To meet the needs of equestrian sports associations and the equine industry in general, the FTSE in collaboration with FEI Solidarity, is organizing a training course for farriers, supervised by expert Mr. Khalil Mteeni, from October 15 to 25.
10 days of intensive training for this first phase of FEI Solidarity training will be aimed at:
- novices, introducing them to the basics of farriery, helping them discover farriery and understand how to assess, analyze, and balance the hoof.
- experienced farriers can develop their skills.
Our farriers, future farriers, and, above all, our horses, greatly benefit from his extensive experience.
Registration deadline: October10, 2025
Registration fees: 250 dinars/ person

And here we go for a new Equestrian discipline at the FTSE.
Under the auspices of the Algerian Equestrian Federation and the International Tent Pegging Federation, an international training course in the discipline of Tent Pegging began on June 14, 2025, at the Najm Al Sharq club headquarters in Constantine, Algeria. More than 90 riders, judges, and trainers representing five countries, including Tunisia, participated. This course marks an important step in the development of tent pegging at the national and international levels.
